About
Mixed Media Artist

I’m a mixed media artist studying a Masters Degree in Art and Design at BCU. Previously I graduated from BCU with a BA(Hons) degree in Textile Design having specialised in embroidery.
I am currently working with Birmingham Scrapstore in their development of their social media platform. I am also involved in experimental art and showcase what can be created from waste products from the Scrapstore. I have a great passion for fabricating collages of interesting buildings and cities in general to produce soft furnishings to appeal to the alternative market.
I am gaining experience in sustainable community development in my work at the Scrapstore. I am committed to recycling products so that there is no waste and that all materials can have a new life in another guise. I am known for producing innovative and striking pieces of textile art.
I have been involved in collaborative projects with Epson and Ikea. I was responsible for creating digital print examples of homewares for a trade show. Ikea were opening a new type of store and asked for students to create upcycled cushions and flamingo chairs from their Poang range to advertise the store.
